Supplier Quality Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the dietary supplement industry, is seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Specialist to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Specialist, you will be an essential part of the Quality Department supporting the qualification and approval of new dietary ingredients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Supplier Quality Specialist

Pay Range: $23-$27

• Collect, organize, and maintain documentation from dietary ingredient suppliers via email.
• Track each ingredient through the qualification and approval process to ensure timely progress.
• Review supplier documentation and complete required internal forms to support formal ingredient approval.
• Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings to provide clear and timely status updates.
• Work towards reducing the backlog of ingredients awaiting Quality approval from approximately 34% to 0%.

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to elevate issues professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work collaboratively within a team environment.
