Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to perform precision mechanical and electronic inspections, support supplier quality initiatives, and ensure products meet strict quality standards.
Responsibilities- Conduct mechanical inspections using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, optical comparators, microscopes, and other metrology equipment.
- Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies and first article inspections.
- Document and communicate nonconforming findings through detailed reports.
- Conduct source inspections at local supplier locations.
- Support supplier audits, MRB activities, and cross-functional quality initiatives.
- Maintain accurate quality records and identify opportunities for Dock-to-Stock (DTS) programs.
- High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant inspection experience, or Associate Degree with 2+ years of related experience.
- Strong background in mechanical inspection, blueprint reading, and quality documentation.
- IPC-A-610 Certification.
- Hexagon CMM Certification (PC-DMIS).
- Keyence Vision System programming experience.
- Experience with optical measurement equipment and supplier quality processes.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
