Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location;
Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing drivers to designated areas;
Monitor inbound and outbound traffic for people, vehicles, and shipments, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity according to post orders;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and emergency services as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site
