Security Officer Part Time

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location;
Control entry and exit for employees, visitors, and vendors by verifying identification, issuing badges, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating with site contacts for authorization;
Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle traffic at gates and/or docks by checking driver credentials, confirming scheduled appointments, and directing vehicles to designated areas per site procedures;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, documenting events, and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, and perimeter, and perform security-related checks of doors, fences, and restricted areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location
