Aircraft Component Repair Technician Entry Level

Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm, overtime as required and approved

Entry Level Technician Position - Responsible for performing skilled tasks in the service, maintenance, and repair of airplane wheels and braking systems, by performing the following duties:

• Deflate tires. *
• Responsible for breaking torque and bead of tires. *
• Removes bearings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts. *
• Cleans hardware and wheels in an aqueous or solvent based machine. *
• Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast. *
• Operates heavy-duty hydraulic jacks and other equipment to perform wheel maintenance functions. *
• Assists other departments when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and individually
• Ability to work cooperatively within timelines provided and meet production requirements assigned.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Background Check Required.

Aero Repair Corp is an FAA and EASA Certified Repair Station, which specializes in the repair and overhaul of aircraft brakes, wheel assemblies, tire replacements, landing gears and other mechanical components. Aero Repair Corp was founded in Londonderry, New Hampshire in 1994 and was acquired by Aero 3, Inc. in 2012. This was followed with expansion to facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana, Atlanta, Georgia, Phoenix, Arizona, Dallas, Texas, Miami, Florida, Montréal, Quebec and Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The eight facilities are full-service FAA 145 or Transport Canada certified wheel, brake and accessory component repair and overhaul shops and are collectively known as Aero Repair. Our North American footprint allows us to service customers from multiple locations to best fit their needs. We have a full in-house logistics system to deliver right to your hangar throughout North America.
