Dockworker and Forklift Operator 2nd Shift $22 - $23 Per Hour + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
BSP Trans, Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.
We're currently hiring a Full-Time Dock Worker and Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team. If you're looking for a hands-on warehouse career with consistent weekday hours, competitive pay, and excellent benefits, we'd love to meet you.
What you will do on a typical shift:
- Load and unload freight trailers safely and efficiently
- Sort, stage, move, and organize palletized and non-palletized freight
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Secure freight inside trailers using load bars, straps, and other freight-securing equipment
- Assist with shipping, receiving, freight handling, and dock operations
- Work safely while following OSHA and company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and productive warehouse environment
- Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and loading dock
- Lift, carry, push, and pull freight weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and over 70 pounds occasionally
- Perform basic math calculations with and without a calculator
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to successfully complete a county-level background check during onboarding
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality work
- Warehouse or dock worker experience
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Experience loading and unloading freight trailers
- LTL freight or transportation industry experience
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
