Position Overview
Kiewit Supply Network is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator. This position will act as a manager for a project, regional area, or division that supports the Engineering and Designer contract review process for contracts and will serve as a key liaison between the engineering team and subcontractors.
LocationThis position is based out of our Lone Tree, CO Regional HQ
Responsibilities- Review and support negotiations of design service agreements with partners and subconsultants.
- Review terms and conditions constituting flow days from prime contract utilizing Kiewit’s prescribed Contract Review Process.
- Review/Revise/Establish/Identify the key risk for the various agreements to ensure compliance with risk profile.
- Interface regularly with business line manager, project sponsors, area managers, estimating team, tax, treasury, legal, and risk management.
- Coordinate and finalize all agreements for subconsultants prior to pursuit submission.
- Work with applicable business lead and legal to modify Kiewit’s standard forms (Professional Services Agreement, Subcontract, etc.) to ensure consistency with the applicable prime contract and properly capture flow-down provisions as necessary.
- Work with applicable business lead and legal to support project lower-tier negotiations with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Support project personnel as needed for contract interpretation and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain or related experience is desired.
- Familiarity with Construction/Civil Engineering industry is preferred.
- 5-10 years of related experience required.
- Excellent, demonstrated customer service and collaboration skills; with the ability to connect and build relationships with others inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to work independently and think analytically with minimal oversight.
- Ability to think innovatively to offer practical solutions while achieving targeted risk profile.
- Ability to manage 1 to 2 employees.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask.
- Working knowledge of MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams).
- Other software working knowledge such as SharePoint, Smart Sheet and SAP desired but not required.
- Regular, reliable attendance.
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
Base Compensation: $100,000/yr - $115,000/yr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
