Position Overview
Our Industrial Market is expanding due to new work in Hyperscale Data Centers, and increased work in the Water/Wastewater and Campus/Industrial energy sectors of our business. We are adding Mid to Senior Electrical/I&C Designers to our Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering (KIWE) team in various locations. We are an innovative team of engineers and designers that supports projects throughout the US and Canada.
Our staff leads and collaborates with Kiewit’s module fabrication and construction teams to approach construction-driven engineering with a focus on safe, cost effective, and innovative designs that achieve client expectations and further Kiewit’s legacy of excellence. LocationThis position can be based out of locations where we have Kiewit offices (Lenexa, KS; Lone Tree CO; Bloomington MN; Houston TX). We offer relocation assistance to our Lenexa, Kansas district office only.
Please note:
To work in our Bloomington or Houston office, we are looking for Senior Designers only (10 years and up).
- Utilize Revit 3D and Smartplant 3D design tools to design and draft drawings for electrical systems for buildings and industrial facilities, including wiring, power distribution diagrams, electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, raceway design/sizing and equipment layout, cable management systems and sizing of cables, grounding layout, lighting, lightning protection, equipment locations, conduit layout.
- Utilize codes and standards to complete assignments with little supervision.
- Identify changes in the scope of work during a small project and produce design changes as needed to stay within budget and schedule.
