Company Overview

Vaporox is a Denver-based medical device company focused on improving outcomes in chronic wound care. Its second-generation device, the VHT-200, received FDA 510(k) clearance in March 2023 and is currently used across skilled nursing facilities and outpatient settings. The company holds a strong intellectual property position and is led by a team with deep experience in medical devices, manufacturing, and reimbursement.

Job Description

  • Execute defined test protocols and assist with verification and validation activities under guidance from senior engineers
  • Set up and maintain basic test fixtures, tools, and lab equipment
  • Collect, organize, and document test data and manufacturing results
  • Support investigation of product issues, nonconformances, and returns, including basic root cause analysis
  • Assist with the evaluation of field issues that cannot be reproduced in the lab, including occasional on-site support
  • Work within the company quality system by following established procedures and documentation requirements
  • Support continuous improvement activities related to manufacturing processes, yield, reliability, and serviceability
  • Assist with supplier and contract manufacturer support activities, including incoming inspection and build readiness
  • Maintain accurate records related to builds, tests, and investigations
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support product development and sustaining efforts
Experience
  • Hands-on experience working with electro-mechanical assemblies
