Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate tasks in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
- Conduct system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management with minimal supervision.
- Technical responsibility for the development and integration of advanced systems incorporating AI/ML and autonomous capabilities.
- Maintain and support systems integration lab and integration/test events.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
- Practical knowledge of multiple engineering principles and practices.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
- Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and V&V principles.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Background in Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Experience with requirements management and system modeling tools, such as DOORS, Cameo, MATLAB.
- Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, including requirements management and MBSE.
- Experience or certification in International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) standards [Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP)].
- Exposure to baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies.
- Understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM).
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience with aircraft mission systems integration including computer networking, video encoding, and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with ISR operations, aircraft, and sensor systems.
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation.
- Ability to work in an office with occasional travel.
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 – $. Compensation varies depending on the candidate’s key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The range may be adjusted for geographic differentials at the position location.

Security ClearanceThis position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required. Non‑U.S. citizens may not be eligible for a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process. Adjudicative factors include allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.
