Mechanical Design Engineer
The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing industrial manufactured products for a variety of OEM & Industrial applications. This role focuses on optimizing product performance, cost, and manufacturability while collaborating with global cross‑functional teams to support product line success.

Denver, CO, on‑site position.
Compensation
: $95,000 - $115,000 base salary + Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, 6% 401k match, 3 weeks PTO.
- Design and optimize industrial product lines for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain global product design standards.
- Plan and manage global design projects, including schedules, deliverables, and business case execution.
- Lead prototyping, validation testing, and failure analysis.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide engineering support to commercial teams.
- Apply engineering and Six Sigma tools such as SPC, FMEA, and DOE for problem‑solving and process improvement.
- Broad knowledge of mechanical design principles and integration with related disciplines.
- Understanding of market standards, competitive differentiation, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, from concept development to completion.
- Strong analytical skills for experimental design, data analysis, and problem formulation.
- Effective communication and collaboration across global and cross‑functional teams.
- Capable of leading small to moderate projects and mentoring team members.
- 5–7 years of experience in product design, development, prototyping, and testing.
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software (PTC Creo preferred).
- Experience with hydraulic quick‑disconnect couplings or mechanical design preferred.
- Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis).
- Strong background in clean‑sheet design and problem‑solving tools (SPC, FMEA, DOE).
- Hands‑on approach to engineering and product development.
- Willingness to travel 10–20%.
- Effective collaboration in a global, fast‑paced environment.
