Join the Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers District as a Geotechnical Engineer. This role expands the Geotechnical Design Group within the infrastructure sector, requiring a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. You will collaborate with structural, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines in a design-build delivery environment.

• Provide project support during the proposal/bid phase, identifying and evaluating innovative, cost‑effective design solutions to geotechnical problems.
• Work with the pursuit team to identify key design risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Develop design recommendations, produce design deliverables, and potentially serve as geotechnical lead or project manager on EPC/design‑build projects.

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field, required.
• 11+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience (15+ preferred).
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the U.S., required.
• Broad technical knowledge of deep and shallow foundations, slope stability, seismic engineering, retaining wall design, earth retention, rock mechanics, settlement of compressible soils, ground improvement techniques, excavation support, and dewatering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in interdisciplinary design coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and review work of others.
• Proven success in fostering strong team relationships.
• Ability to travel to project sites and work safely in varying climatic and environmental conditions.
• EPC or design‑build experience, preferred.
• Experience using AI agents and tools, preferred.

• Regular, reliable attendance.

• Effective and professional communication with supervisors, employees, and others.
• Compliance with safety practices, oral and written instructions, and site policies.
• Work during normal hours with readiness for overtime and weekends as needed.

Base Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on education, experience, skillset, and location.
