Kiewit is seeking several highly skilled Sr. Building Structural Engineer to lead the analysis, design, and detailing of complex structural systems for large-scale vertical projects. This role demands deep proficiency in advanced structural modeling, seismic and wind load evaluation, steel and concrete design, and constructability-focused engineering that aligns with Kiewit's integrated design-build delivery. You'll serve as a technical authority, ensuring rigorous compliance with applicable codes, optimizing structural solutions for cost and schedule, and collaborating closely with construction teams to drive safe, efficient, and buildable designs.

Responsibilities include leading structural design and analysis, utilizing building codes and technical knowledge to establish design recommendations, performing structural calculations and simulations, evaluating design drawings, collaborating with construction teams, and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team for project execution. You'll also mentor less-senior engineers, review construction drawings, and provide engineering services during construction.

Qualifications include a Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a Professional Engineering License, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in structural analysis and design. Preferred qualifications include supplementary field experience, proficiency in BIM and CAD software, and experience in providing engineering services during construction.
