Position OverviewKiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an immediate opening for a dynamic Traffic Engineer in our growing Traffic/ITS Group in Lone Tree, Colorado (Denver Metro area);
Westlake, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area);
Seattle, Washington; or Raleigh, North Carolina. You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, MOT, pavement, utilities, drainage, roadway, rail, traffic, and materials disciplines. This infrastructure design group is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects.
As a Traffic Engineer, you will be expected to coordinate with project teams in Canada, Mexico, and the United States to design and produce traffic engineering components for design/build and other alternative delivery projects in North America.

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design Build/Alternate Delivery team are driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects to manage their multi-disciplined design teams to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risks. This role will be based out of one of our offices at the following locations:

Responsibilities- Assist with the planning, analysis, and design of transportation projects across North America, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Support traffic engineering tasks from preliminary through final design in areas such as:
- Traffic Analysis and Modeling
- Signing and Pavement Markings
- Traffic Signals
- Roadway Lighting and Electrical Systems
- Apply traffic engineering principles, standards, and best practices to develop safe and efficient transportation solutions.
