Job Summary

Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office. Assist with patient care under the direction and supervision of a provider or nurse. Perform basic clinical skills, specimen collection, monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions, and document patient care provided. Maintain equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting, and maintain examination areas. Perform administrative or clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision, applying critical thinking and decisive judgement.

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Primary Care Yosemite, Lone Tree, CO, US.

Department: UCHlthMG Comm Div Float Pool

Work Schedule: Full Time, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) | Shift: Days

Pay: $20.26 – $26.34 per hour (dependent on experience)

Onsite only; no hybrid or remote option

Responsibilities
  • Assist provider or nurse under supervision in performing patient care, basic clinical skills, and specimen collection.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
  • Document patient care provided.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain examination areas.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
  • Apply critical thinking, decisive judgement, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
  • Credentials: High School diploma or GED;
    Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Minimum Experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
  • Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer with card before start date; card must be valid for 60 days after hire.
