As a Systems Security Engineer III, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of our IT infrastructure. You will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure IT systems, and take charge of high-level incident response and digital forensics.
** Responsibilities:**
* ** CI/CD Optimization & Process Automation:
** Collaborate with engineering teams to define and execute an automation roadmap, enhance CI/CD pipeline integration, and streamline build, patch, and release processes.
* ** Software Configuration Management & CCB Governance:
** Direct the Software Configuration Management (SCM) lifecycle—including facilitating the Configuration Control Board (CCB), managing baseline changes, and controlling the release of baseline CSCIs, build artifacts, and supporting documentation (e.g., A&A RMF packages, KBAs, installation scripts).

* Cross-Functional Collaboration:

** Partner with product management and developers to refine requirements, establish acceptance criteria, coordinate UAT, and drive quality early in the SDLC.  
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline
* 5+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.
* Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required.
* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
* Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
* Experience with security frameworks and standards such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), ISO 27001.
* ** Current/Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required**.  
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Information Systems Security Engineer Certified Authorization Professional (ISSE CAP) Certification.
* Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Security+, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Certification.
