Position Summary
Maintain and process shipments, develop delivery schedules, create receiving reports, manage inventory and safety compliance for Sam’s Club.
What you’ll do- Maintain and process shipments for the Club in accordance with Company policies and procedures by developing and posting delivery schedules.
- Compile and organize receiving reports, verify merchandise counts, route merchandise to proper locations, and pay expenses.
- Receive merchandise for the Facility and organize and maintain the Receiving area by following Company procedures, utilize equipment appropriately, merchandise items, and complete required documentation.
- Track and process claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, maintaining and cleaning the clearance area, and utilizing technology to capture required reporting and documentation.
- Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conduct safety sweeps, perform forklift spotting procedures, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, and report unsafe situations to facility management.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks and communicate progress; determine and recommend improvement opportunities and adapt to and learn from change and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications- Forklift certification or will obtain a Forklift Certification within 30 days of job entry date.
