Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Travel RN with OR experience to provide top-quality perioperative care at a busy surgical center. The position involves floating to multiple surgery centers within the Denver area, supporting diverse surgical procedures, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and monitor patients during various surgical procedures across multiple service lines.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
• Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols while providing exceptional patient care.
• Float to different surgery centers as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Document patient care and operative activities accurately in paper or electronic systems.
• Maintain competency in handling equipment and supplies specific to OR procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current, active RN license with valid credentials.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care OR nursing experience.
• Maintain BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate experience circulating various service lines, including orthopedics, ENT, pediatrics, GYN, plastic, urology, and podiatry.
• Exhibit strong communication, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
