- Number of Beds – 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, 3 L&D ORs
- Number of Staff – Matrix is 8-10 for night shift
- Type of Staff
- Day Shift – example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters
- Night Shift – 1 charge, 7-9 RNs, 1 CST
- Patient Ratios – 2:1, 1:1 with complicated patients – Estimated never guaranteed
- Type of equipment – FHR monitors (Novii and GE), FSE (fetal scalp electrodes)
- EMR – CPN and Meditech
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN or EFM
- Mom/Baby, Peds and/or NICU experience
- Vaginal deliveries, c-section deliveries
- Delivery of care through nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients and high-risk antepartum patients.
