Role OverviewThe Pre Op/PACU Registered Nurse will provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continuously evaluating their condition and ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. The role includes assisting physicians with conscious sedation and sterile techniques in the procedure rooms, and providing comprehensive post‑anesthesia care.
Responsibilities- Continuously assess patient condition and provide safety, comfort, and privacy.
- Assist physicians in the procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques as needed.
- Manage patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
- Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family for discharge.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Active RN license in the state.
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care (preferred).
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.

Pay: $34–$53 per hour (based on experience).
