Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

$1713.60/week -

Job Summary:

The Emergency Room RN provides critical patient care in a high-volume, Level II trauma emergency department. This role involves managing acutely ill patients, performing procedures, and delivering exceptional patient and family support.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess and prioritize patient needs.
• Perform procedures such as procedural sedation, chest pain assessment, and trauma care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting plans of care accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide education and reassurance.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of current ED hospital experience.
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card certifications.
• Demonstrate experience in high-volume emergency departments, trauma, and stroke care.
• Possess strong procedural skills and the ability to handle complex patient situations.
• Exhibit proactive, engaging personality with excellent communication skills.
• CEN and Meditech experience preferred.
