Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for an Operating Room travel assignment at a prominent healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care during various surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver perioperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Prepare operating rooms with appropriate equipment and supplies for surgeries.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records.
• Current ACLS/PALS certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with trauma and vascular procedures preferred.
• Ability to work 7 PM–7 AM shifts in a dynamic environment.
