Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for a seasonal travel OR position at a prominent hospital. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume, technologically advanced operating room environment with a focus on trauma, vascular, and neuro procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and ensure patient readiness for surgery.
• Assist surgical teams during complex procedures utilizing advanced equipment such as DaVinci Robotics.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses, and any intraoperative incidents.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and unit policies throughout all procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond promptly to on-call requests within the designated response time to support ongoing OR needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 1-year current acute care OR experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating room procedures, particularly in trauma, vascular, or neuro surgeries.
• Possess BLS certification; ACLS is preferred.
• Have experience with Meditech EMR; robotics experience is highly preferred.
• Be self-motivated, positive, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
