As part of Charles Schwab’s Lease Administration team, you will be responsible for the day- to- day management of the company’s large real estate portfolio. The Senior Manager Lease Administration is part of a collaborative, diverse and driven professional environment. The team maintains and processes critical lease information in the lease database system (CoStar). The Senior Manager Lease Administration is responsible for tracking critical dates, ensuring timely payments of rents, resolving payment issues, managing reporting, and reviewing/abstracting documents.
The Senior Manager Lease Administration collaborates and works closely with other groups in Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Legal and Risk Management, as well as being a key point of contact with multiple landlords that range in size from small property owners to large institutions including REITs.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain and manage a large diverse real estate portfolio that includes office and retail locations
- Provide timely and accurate documentation and reporting
- Process rent payments and coordinate wire transfers
- Abstract complex lease documents
- Ensure rent payments are made in accordance with the lease and are processed on time
- Review CAM; miscellaneous charges and real estate tax invoices and ensure they are correct prior to payment
- Review annual reconciliation statements and perform desktop audits
- Work with landlords and property managers to resolve issues
- Accounts receivable and cash collections
- Monitor letters of credit and security deposits
- Perform due diligence for the SNDA and estoppel documents
- Manage and respond to landlords’ requests for certificates of insurance
We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site four days per week in the specified locations.

Required Qualifications
:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years of relevant professional work experience including 3+ years of lease administration experience
- Strong understanding of key real estate concepts
- Ability to understand and interpret complex office/retail leases
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
- Interpersonal skills and problem solving
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment to build relationships and interact effectively with internal and external business partners
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Able to multi-task, prioritize/manage time
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with capability to master company-specific accounting and lease administration database programs
Preferred Qualifications
:
- Experience using CoStar Real Estate Manager is a plus
- Paralegal experience
