Job Summary

The Community Specialist is responsible for executing the store’s community strategy, engaging with the community through relationship building, events, and other activities, including supporting product seeding and attending local studios. They develop and sustain local key relationships with Ambassadors and other influential community partners, providing synergistic value, and deliver a world‑class guest experience on the store floor, bringing their community perspective into the guest connection.

Core

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with store leadership to bring community strategy, community foundations, and guest experience to life.
  • Establish and manage local key relationships (Ambassadors, Sweat Collective, studio owners, lululemon partner studios) to increase guest acquisition and retention.
  • Engage with the local community to identify future ambassador or partner opportunities and raise the store’s standing as a community hub.
  • Connect with guests on the floor to assess needs, provide technical product education, and incorporate omnichannel programs into a seamless end-to-end experience.
  • Attend, support, and/or host local and regional community events.
  • Execute the product seeding strategy through community partners and Ambassadors.
  • Review community‑relevant business data and metrics to share insights and recommendations with store leadership regarding events, projects, or initiatives.
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming and celebrating differences for a supportive, productive, and fun experience for all team members.
Job Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work in the country in which the store is located.
  • Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation.
Schedule / Availability
  • Work schedule may vary based on store needs.
  • Shifts typically scheduled: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • During peak time frames, special events, or other circumstances, the schedule may include early mornings or late nights/overnights.
Experience
  • 1 year of cumulative experience in customer service or engagement, grassroots marketing, brand engagement, or community building.
Job Assets (Nice to have)
  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
  • Experience building or maintaining relationships with clients, groups, or partners; motivating team members to accomplish goals or activities.

Work Context

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay Range
: $21.00 – $24.16 /hour (subject to local minimum wage)

Target Bonus
: $2.00 /hour

Total Target Base Pay Range
: $23.00 – $26.16 /hour
