The Optician drives profitable store sales, attracts and retains guests for life by delivering exceptional guest service. This is accomplished through a positive and productive retail‑selling environment that ensures premier guest service, guest retention, and outstanding optical team and doctor satisfaction.

• Drive profitable store sales by fostering a retail selling culture and practicing effective sales skills.
• Develop professional business relationships with other team members.
• Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fit and adapt lenses and frames using optical prescription.
• Ensure high‑quality and timely product manufacturing and fabrication.
• Analyze and interpret prescriptions and lens designs.
• Measure pupillary distances and fit bifocal, trifocal, and progressive lenses.
• Select and measure frames for facial contour, eye size, bridge size, and temple length.
• Fit and adjust eyewear to the face and eyes.
• Dispense quality products.

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• ABO Certification.
• 2+ years in Retail Optical.
• Basic computer skills.
• Independent and self‑motivated.
• Ability to grow sales through sales skills.
• Enthusiastic and concise communication.

• Associate’s Degree.

Pay Range: $20.85–$32.51 per hour; may include bonus and commission opportunities.
