SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as Skill Bridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work.
Note:
You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.
- Provide security customer support to SNC personnel, visitors and customers.
- Execute administrative security processes and procedures to protect classified and sensitive information.
- Handle and safeguard classified materials, ensuring compliance with government and company policies.
- Support security awareness education and training activities.
- Participate in security compliance assessments and audits.
- Maintain security documentation and records.
- Respond to security incidents and support investigations.
- Assist with visitor control and facility security.
- Support the development of security policies and procedures.
- Currently serving as ACTIVE DUTY military and be eligible to participate in the DoD Skill Bridge program.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a related field.
- Active security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain any SCI or SAP accesses required for the role.
- Basic understanding of security compliance and regulations.
- Strong verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in the Military or Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Familiarity with industrial security regulations and best practices.
- Knowledge of 32 CFR 117:
National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) or SCI/SAP regulations applicable to the role. - Experience with access control, visit control, and badge management systems and software.
- Must be able to handle classified information securely.
- Ability to work in an office environment, with occasional travel as required.
- Capable of sitting for extended periods and working on a computer.
- Dexterity to handle documents and perform electronic data entry.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
