RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Travel nursing position on 5th Floor PCU/medical/telemetry unit

• Patient ratios of 4-5 patients during both day and night shifts

• 45-bed unit with 90 staff members including charge nurses, RNs, and MSTs

• Required certifications: ACLS

•

Preferred experience:

Cardiac, PCU, or ICU experience

• Work with equipment including lifts, dynamap, and cardiac monitoring equipment

• EMR system:
Meditech

• Perform typical procedures including cardiac drips, cardiac caths, chest tube management, wound care, and TPN/lipids administration

• Self-scheduling available as unit allows

• Team-oriented and positive personality fit preferred

• Access to new lift equipment and mobile technology
