Job Details
Accounts Payable Processing
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (2-way / 3-way match)
- Ensure proper approvals are obtained in accordance with company policy
- Prepare and process vendor payments (ACH, checks, wires, virtual cards)
- Assist in implementation of automation within AP processing
- Set up and maintain vendor records, including W-9 collection and validation
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate variances
- Assist with month-end close by preparing AP accruals and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate AP aging schedules
- Support audit requests by providing invoices, payment support, and schedules
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and segregation of duties
- Support 1099 reporting by tracking eligible vendors and payments
- Follow company policies related to purchasing and payment authorization
