Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our accounting function. This hands-on role oversees core accounting activities, manages a small team, and drives process improvements across systems and workflows. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, chargebacks, and tax audits
• Manage month-end and year-end close and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Prepare and analyze budgets, cash flow forecasts, and revenue reports
• Support annual reviews, tax filings, and external audits
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and IT
• Manage accounting for global subsidiaries, including consolidation and compliance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Accounting preferred)
• 5+ years of accounting experience; 2–3 years in a senior or supervisory role
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or Business Central and advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, chargebacks, and national retail transactions
• Experience with international accounting and intercompany activity
• Proven people management and deadline-driven execution skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
• Retail or consumer products experience a plus
