Asthe Senior Accountant at True Anomalyin ourLong Beachfacility, you will be a key contributor to themonth end close process,preparation of Monthly Financial Statements, andthe lead representativeofthe accountingteamwithin theLong Beach facility.

This role will be the primary accounting owner for theLong Beach facilityandwillsupport the corporate office with continuous process improvements and regular close procedures within Net Suite.

Youwill be critical in scalingtheaccounting function, implementing internal controls,and supporting system integration. This role will require someone who wants to dig in,design the processes,andown entries and processes within the general ledger.

We are looking for a reliable problem solver, someone who candemonstratethe ability toidentifyissues,develop scalable solutions, andoperatewitha high levelof autonomy.

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Supporttheimplementationofaccounting policies and best practices
• Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the close process, implementing new procedures to improve efficiency and reduce the close cycle time
• Implement and ensure cost accounting processes and controlsat the Long Beach facility
• Ensure proper accounting for fixed assetswithinthe
  
  Long Beach facility
• Support the preparation of Financial Statements
• Act as a keystakeholderin shaping theLong Beachfacilityaccounting teamby refining processes and preparing for growth
• Supportaccountingin accordance with
  
  Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) for CAS-covered contracts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes and systems
• Support the annual audit
• Serve as a liaison between the accounting team and other departments to provide guidance and insights on financial matters
• Other tasks as assigned

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance,3+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with government contract accounting,FAR accounting standards,andDCAAcomplianceis a plus
• Previous Aerospace and Defense experience a plus
• Analyticalwithexceptionalproblem-solving skills, high degree of ownership,andastrongattention to detail.
  
  Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
