Job SummaryUnder the general direction of the Department Chair & Theatre Management Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for all fiscal activities and operations for the Theatre Arts Box Office and the University Theatre Box Office.
Key Responsibilities- Oversight of daily box office fiscal operations: process sales, reconcile data, prepare deposits, and transport deposits to the cashier’s office.
- Ticket sales schedule and systems programming: program all season and special events into the ticketing system, manage ticket assignments, handle technical issues, and produce budgetary reports.
- Operational efficiency: develop policies and procedures, maintain a box office procedures manual, and ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and PCI DSS.
Strong knowledge of cash handling practices and PCI DSS, familiarity with MS Office Suite and ticketing systems such as Blue Fin and , and experience working with diverse communities. Excellent written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Detail‑oriented, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; two years of related experience preferred.
Physical Summary- Sedentary work; walking/standing minimal; lifting limited to lightweight objects (≤10 lbs).

Duration:
Temporary 1 year, no permanent status.
