Job Summary

This position will serve as the primary point of contact for fiscal and HR processes for the Advanced Media Productions (AMP) department. Additionally, this role will assist COTA faculty with travel related information sharing, processing, purchases and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities
  • COTA fiscal processing for faculty awards – Prepare, process, and submit fiscal transactions for faculty travel within COTA ensuring that expenses are charged to correct funds and accounts. Enter travel related transactions into the department FASS for COTA units, as applicable. Assist COTA faculty with questions related to RSCA /grant/ other award related policies and expenses related to the purchase of travel, materials, and reimbursements;
    Refer COTA faculty to online resources or HR personnel as needed.
  • AMP fiscal processing – Prepare, process, and submit financial transactions for all expenses in AMP ensuring that expenses are charged to the correct fund and account numbers. Using Data Warehouse reporting, enter, track, and reconcile all AMP related expenses into the FASS. Enter, update, and reconcile all AMP pcard transactions and submit expense requests through CSUBuy/Concur.
  • AMP HR processing – Process all AMP-related time-keeping transactions for staff and student employees. Draft student employee position descriptions and monitor student work hours. Facilitate the processing of student hires.

Compensation

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.

  • Hiring Range:
    The hiring range for this position is $2,183.50 (Step
    1) – $2,609.50 (Step 10) per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.
  • CSU Classification Salary Range (Part-Time, 0.50 FTE): $2,183.50 (Step
    1) - $3,181 (Step 20) per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.
