Role
Summary:
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Production Development for Universal Pictures. This position requires reading and providing opinions on materials, managing daily administrative functions, and supporting the team. Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented, passionate about films, screenplays, and books, with an expansive worldview. Universal Pictures offers a fast-paced, friendly, professional environment where excellence is expected.
Agency experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 1.5 years of experience in an administrative role at a production company, agency, management company, or studio.
- At least 1 year of successful organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Agency experience is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of the development process and familiarity with major film agents, agencies, writers, and directors.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong sense of urgency.
- This is an on-site position at an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
- Eligible for company benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks. Salary range: $47,500 - $60,000.
