Position OverviewWe are looking for an Executive Assistant
, reporting to the Chief of Staff
, to support the development of the systems required for the design and build of artificial‑gravity human‑rated space stations. This is a full‑time, exempt position located at our Long Beach headquarters.
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Skillfully manage and coordinate executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Create opportunities and initiatives to bring department team members together to further team building and engagement.
- Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of company executives.
- Prepare and distribute materials for meetings, attend meetings, and ensure all documentation is readily available.
- Act as a central point of contact, facilitating communication between executives, internal teams, and external partners.
- Track and manage executive expenses and process reimbursements.
- Support executives in various projects, research tasks, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments on projects as needed.
- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting multiple C‑Suite executives.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of work experience.
- Experience supporting executives in a fast‑paced space startup environment.
- Event and meeting planning experience.
- Ability to think outside of the box with a sense of urgency.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- A passion for DEI and fostering a positive work culture.
- Ability to be on site 5 days a week at our HQ in Long Beach.
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.
Pay Range: $89,925 – $137,003 USD (California). Base salary will vary based on knowledge, education, skills, experience, and market demand. Employees also receive company equity and a comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents, generous paid time off, parental leave, disability insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, Class Pass credits, and mental health resources.
