Salary: 27 – $4,515.63 – $5,550.21 Monthly (4 Vacancies)
Position OverviewJoin the Long Beach Community College District as an Administrative Assistant. Provide advanced administrative and office support to assigned departments, managers, faculty, and staff. Coordinate meetings and travel, maintain records and databases, support budget and purchasing processes, assist with payroll and personnel documentation, and provide information regarding district policies and procedures to students, staff, and the public.
Accountabilities- Coordinate meetings and travel for department and staff.
- Maintain records and specialized databases.
- Support budget and purchasing processes.
- Assist with payroll and personnel documentation.
- Provide information on district and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with district policies.
- Associate’s degree in a related field.
- Two (2) years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, autonomy in managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow district policies.
- Valid California driver’s license (may be required).
- Ability to maintain insurability under district vehicle insurance policy.
