As the Assistant Registrar, Athletic Evaluation for Student Records, this position is responsible for the day to day administrative oversight of processing of student-athlete academic records, including but not limited to admissions, competition eligibility, compliance monitoring, and progress to degree. Theyserve as the primary Enrollment Services contact and the campus subject matter expert on NCAA, Big West Conference, and other NCAA conference eligibility criteria and rules, ensures compliance and reports any concerns or violations to the campus NCAA Compliance Officer in CSULB Athletics.
Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable,inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality ofcampus life. This position uses a student-centered andequity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Day to day administrative oversight of processing ofstudent-athlete academic records, including but not limited to admissions, competition eligibility, compliance monitoring, and progress to degree. Serves as primary Enrollment Services contact and campus subject matter expert on NCAA, Big West Conference, andother NCAA conference eligibility criteria and rules, ensures compliance and reports any concerns or violations to campus NCAA Compliance Officer in CSULB Athletics.
- Maintenance, implementation, configuration, updating, testing,and overall support of Athletics module student information systems.
- Plans, organizes, and manages the work of the (2) Evaluator Istaff assigned to the student-athlete admissions and eligibility support functions, including oversight of Club Sports eligibility processing.

Duration of Appointment
This is a temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.
- Hiring Range:
The hiring range for this position is $5,675 -$6,195 per month commensurate with candidate's education,experience, skills, and training. - CSU Classification Salary Range:
The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $5,540- $7,893 per month.
