As we continue to pursue new goals, it's an exciting time to join the Bragg team. We are currently hiring a Corporate Maintenance Manager for our Long Beach, CA headquarters.
Position Overview:
The Corporate Maintenance Manager supports maintenance operations across Bragg Companies (BCO), including Bragg Heavy Transport, Bragg Construction, and Bragg Crane Services. This role helps ensure equipment reliability, consistent maintenance standards, and cost-effective support for field operations across all divisions. The position works closely with leadership, shop managers, maintenance personnel, and vendors to promote safe, efficient, and well-managed equipment fleets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Standards & Equipment Reliability: Develop and maintain company-wide maintenance programs, service interval standards, and best practices to ensure consistent execution and equipment reliability. Lead oil analysis and warranty processes, manage related documentation, and ensure Shop Managers follow all established schedules, guidelines, and requirements.
- Leadership, Technical Support & Cross-Division Coordination: Provide leadership and technical guidance to Shop Managers and maintenance teams, supporting issue resolution and informed decision-making. Align maintenance practices across divisions while collaborating with SMEs and adapting to the operational needs of Heavy Transport and Crane operations.
- Systems, Inventory & Purchasing Standards: Develop and implement corporate standards for inventory and parts purchasing, ensuring consistent practices across all locations. Coordinate high-value purchasing approvals with corporate leadership and ensure Shop Managers follow established guidelines.
- Budgeting & Financial Coordination: Lead and support the annual budgeting process and assist teams throughout the year in managing to budget expectations. Provide Accounting and Finance with tools such as vendor payment matrices to maintain strong vendor relationships and uninterrupted parts and service availability.
- Vendor, OEM & Supplier Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure reliable access to parts, service, and technical support.
- Training & Workforce Development: Develop and implement corporate maintenance training standards and support leaders in ensuring consistent training completion across all BCO locations.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in a Maintenance Management role.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in heavy construction, rigging, crane, or related industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Suite applications.
- Safety Sensitive Position: Due to the safety sensitive nature of the role, the candidate must be able to pass initial and random drug screenings.
- Physical Conditions: Will frequently be required to stand; walk; and sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
- Salary: $160,000-$180,000 per year.
