Seachrome is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Account Coordinator to support daily order management and customer account operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate order entry, maintaining system integrity within Sage 100, supporting EDI processes, and assisting with issue resolution for assigned accounts.
The Customer Account Coordinator will also support our eCommerce and marketplace accounts by managing order processing, uploading approved product information, and assisting with deductions and compliance-related matters. This position focuses on operational execution and customer support, not revenue growth or sales strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned customer and eCommerce accounts
- Answer incoming customer calls and respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Enter, review, and maintain sales orders accurately in Sage 100
- Process and validate purchase orders for assigned accounts
- Monitor and resolve EDI transmission issues including 850, 855, 856, and 810 transactions
- Coordinate internally to resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, or compliance concerns
- Upload approved product descriptions, graphics, and documentation to eCommerce platforms. All content will be provided by marketing
- Research, track, and assist in resolving customer deductions and chargebacks
- Maintain accurate pricing and quote records
- Communicate lead times, order updates, and issue resolutions to customers
- Escalate complex account issues to management when necessary
- Associate’s Degree in Business Administration (preferred)
- 1‑3 years experience in customer service, order management, or account coordination preferred
- Experience supporting eCommerce or marketplace accounts preferred
- Working knowledge of EDI processes and ERP systems. Sage 100 experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in an office and manufacturing shop environment, possess good work ethics, and a positive attitude.
