Job Summary

This role coordinates and implements donor experiences through events, communications, and campus engagement activities that highlight the impact of philanthropy and strengthen long‑term relationships with the university. In addition, partners across campus plan, organize, and execute stewardship initiatives, ensuring projects run smoothly, communications are timely, and donors remain informed, connected, and inspired.

  • Lead, coordinate, and implement the Comprehensive Stewardship Plan, including event programming, social engagement activities, and board‑related stewardship efforts.
  • Responsible for coordinating stewardship communications to support collaboration across internal and external partners.
  • Develops and maintains project plans, timelines, and deliverables for department related projects.

This is a temporary position for 1 year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

Compensation

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.

  • Hiring Range: $5,274 (Step
    1) – $6,303 (Step 10) per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.
  • CSU Classification Salary Range: $5,274 (Step
    1) – $7,684 (Step 20) per month.

Education and Experience
  • Equiv­alent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, communications, and/or 4 years of professional experience in project coordination, event planning, or a related field preferred.
Licenses / Certificates

Employees who are required to operate motorized vehicles and/or use their personal vehicle more than once a month on university business must take a mandatory Defensive Driving course and enroll in the DMV Employee Pull Notice (EPN) Program.

Physical Summary

Sedentary work – Involves mainly sitting. Walking and standing are minimal. Lifting is limited to lightweight objects (10 pounds or less).
