Technical Product Manager – Aerospace
Location: Bellflower, CA - Onsite
Duration: 14 Months
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager – Aerospace to lead the development and delivery of innovative aerospace products and digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, product management experience, and knowledge of aerospace systems. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, program management, customers, and cross‑functional teams to define product strategy, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the product roadmap aligned with business and customer objectives.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements from customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
- Translate business needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with software, systems, hardware, and aerospace engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive Agile product development by managing the product backlog and participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate with program managers, quality assurance, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive products to identify opportunities.
- Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements based on data and customer insights.
- Support product launches, customer demonstrations, and technical presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience in the aerospace, aviation, defense, or aerospace manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business value.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing cross‑functional engineering teams.
