The Assistant Director of Development will independently build upon and maintain a portfolio of prospects, directly soliciting gifts to support the CNSM, create relationships with college alumni, prospects, donors, and external community members, steward the CNSM, donors, and provide project management, assistance and support at alumni, donor and prospect events.

• Lead, build and maintain a portfolio of donor prospects and solicit annual leadership and major gifts of $250,000+
• Write thank you letters, design and produce donor centric marketing collateral and publications (e.g., impact reports, proposals, case statements), including digital collateral (e.g., social media, website), and other relevant materials in support of fundraising initiatives.
• Coordinate cultivation and stewardship activities and board committee activities related to funding development.

1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week.

This is a temporary position for 1 year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

Advancement Professional II

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.

• Hiring Range:
  The hiring range for this position is $5,274 (Step
  1) - $6,303 (Step 10) per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.
• CSU Classification Salary Range:
  The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $5,274 (Step
  1) - $7,684 (Step 20) per month.
