Day Camp Counselor - Los Altos

Position Summary:

Provides direct supervision of a group of children in a seasonal day camp. Provides a quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

• Ability to travel on field trip days
• Ability to work 5 out of 10 weeks
• Ability to attend 2 mandatory trainings (June 6 & 13)

Environmental Factors: Indoor and outdoor facilities (e.g. childcare and recreational sites); exposure to heat, cold, potentially hazardous chemicals, toxic materials; work on slippery or uneven surfaces. Noise level is usually moderate.
