Project Overview
A place for you. We don’t just build buildings, we build careers. This role focuses on the Marina Shores project in Long Beach, which involves demolishing existing office buildings, dewatering and methane mitigation of a former landfill site, and construction of a 7‑level parking garage with 6 floors of residential "podium" units.
Responsibilities- Manage project buyout and contract negotiations with the Project Manager.
- Collaborate on budget and job cost forecasting alongside the Project Manager.
- Ensure financial, budget, and forecasting objectives are met and report to senior management.
- Monitor construction schedule, track progress through site reports.
- Perform onsite inspections to verify that standards, plans, and specifications are met.
- Align project costs with approved budgets, review and approve contractor invoices and change‑order requests.
- Lead project to timely completion, remain within scope and budget, and obtain the certificate of occupancy.
- Serve as a proactive liaison between onsite teams, third‑party groups, and corporate departments, facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Construction or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in multi‑family construction project management.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams.
- Experience with wrap‑ and podium‑construction projects.
- Technical skills for complex geotechnical, environmental, utility, and deep‑foundation risks.
- Advanced computer proficiency (Windows) and knowledge of Construction and Project Management software, including Microsoft Project.
- OSHA 30‑hour certification within the past three years and current First Aid & CPR training.
- Must pass a drug screen following a conditional offer of employment.
- Safety is a core value; a comprehensive safety training program is provided.
- Personal protective equipment is supplied as required.

Compensation & BenefitsBase salary: $123,000 - $150,000, plus a bonus incentive. A full benefits package is available.
