Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager, Contracts Manager
The Role
We're looking for a sharp, experienced Project Manager to join our team. This is a role built for someone who can win the work and run it — someone who understands pre-construction, sub-contractor bidding, and managing a project for CRM Construction and our Client.
You'll manage commercial and industrial projects from kickoff through closeout, while also preparing competitive and accurate bids. You'll work directly with the CEO, and our field superintendents in a collaborative, high-accountability environment where your contributions are visible and your growth is real.
What You ll Do- Lead project kickoff, pre-construction meetings, and mobilization
- Manage schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders in Contractor Foreman
- Conduct weekly site visits and subcontractor coordination meetings
- Oversee superintendents through weekly Goal Setting Reviews (GSRs)
- Track cost-to-complete monthly; flag and resolve budget variances
- Provide weekly client updates and manage project closeout from punch list to final sign-off
- Prepare detailed estimates using sub-contractor bids for commercial and industrial projects including TIs, ground-up construction, equipment installation, and specialty facilities
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor bids
- Identify scope gaps, risks, and opportunities during the bidding phase
- Support design-build pursuits in coordination with architects and engineers
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction (general contracting preferred)
- Estimating experience with demonstrated ability to produce accurate, competitive bids
- Familiarity with specialty construction a strong plus: clean rooms, high-hazard (H) occupancy, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, medical/life sciences, or similar
- Strong command of project financials — budget tracking, cost-to-complete, change order management
- Excellent communication skills; ability to manage clients, subs, and internal teams simultaneously
- Proficiency with construction management software (Contractor Foreman, Procore, or similar);
Smartsheet and Company Cam experience a plus - California construction knowledge: permitting processes, local jurisdictions, building codes
- Family culture, not corporate bureaucracy — you ll work directly with leadership and be treated like part of the team from day one
- Interesting, complex projects — our work spans aerospace facilities, clean rooms, industrial retrofits, and specialty build-outs that most GCs never touch
- Stability — we ve been doing this since 1969 and we re still growing
- Technology-forward — we invest in the right tools (Contractor Foreman, Smartsheet, Company Cam) so our PMs can focus on managing, not chasing paperwork
- A track record you can be proud of — no lawsuits, no unpaid jobs, no shortcuts
These aren t words on a wall. They re how we hire, how we operate, and how we measure success.
How to ApplySend your resume and a brief note about a project you re proud of to or apply directly through Linked In.
