Estimator - Commercial Construction Long Beach, CA Full-Time On-Site

We are a national commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced estimator to join its Long Beach team. This organization specializes in ground-up construction, tenant improvements, remodels, and rollout programs across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who enjoys fast-paced work, collaborating with operations teams, and helping drive projects from concept to contract award.

What You'll Do

• Prepare accurate conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates for commercial construction projects
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents to develop detailed takeoffs
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
• Analyze project risks, scope gaps, and constructability concerns
• Work closely with project management and operations teams during preconstruction
• Assist with proposal development and bid submissions

What We're Looking For

• 3-8+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
• Experience with tenant improvements, remodels, retail, restaurant, or ground-up projects preferred
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and pricing
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Experience with estimating software and quantity takeoff tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
