Turelk is looking for Project Engineers to join our teams in Long Beach and Newport Beach. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers on commercial tenant improvement and renovation projects throughout Southern California, gaining hands-on experience while building a long-term career with a growing commercial general contractor.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Engineer, you’ll support the successful execution of commercial construction projects by:

• Assisting Project Managers through all phases of construction
• Preparing and tracking RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Coordinating with subcontractors, architects, owners, consultants, and vendors
• Managing project documentation and contract administration
• Assisting with scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and cost tracking
• Participating in project meetings and documenting action items
• Supporting project closeout and punch list completion
• Visiting project sites and collaborating with field teams as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or Project Coordinator with a commercial General Contractor
• Experience on commercial tenant improvement, renovation, or ground-up construction projects
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field
• Experience with Autodesk, Procore, or similar construction management software is preferred.
