Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated self‑starter who embodies a passion for dance culture and a love for box office support.
Role OverviewThe Box Office Attendant will provide a high level of customer service related to ticketing at the box office or ticket resolution areas.
Responsibilities- Actively participate in a training session for the Front Gate box office system to effectively help patrons needing assistance with their ticket order.
- Identify a customer’s order call quickly and accurately by verifying all pertinent information, including name, email, and credit card, to distribute tickets properly.
- Resolve scanning issues that may occur with a patron’s ticket at the gate in a timely and courteous manner.
- Accurately administer cash and credit card transactions with the Front Gate POS system.
- Contact supervisor for unanswered questions.
- Maintain a professional, upbeat attitude and smile at all times in a fast‑paced environment.
- Keep the area clean and organized.
- Understand surroundings and all published festival information and be prepared to provide effective, correct information about the event.
- Take extraordinary initiative when answering attendee questions.
- Treat all attendees with equal respect and sincerity.
- Understand evacuation procedures and safe refuge locations prior to the opening of each show.
- Report to Box Office Management.
- Preferred sales and customer service–related work experience.
- Comfortable using a computer.
- Professional interaction with all levels of individuals, including de‑escalation of situations.
- Successfully complete a background investigation and a pre‑employment drug/alcohol test.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license at all times.
- Must tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.
- May work in drastic temperature climates.
- Willing to frequently travel to event venues during holidays, evenings, and weekend hours as required.
- Applicants must possess US work authorization and do not require visa sponsorship.

Salaryand Compensation
Hiring salary range: $16.50–$19.00 per hour. Compensation for this position is $16.90 USD hourly. Salary determinations consider education, training, experience, location, travel, and market factors. Salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
