Role Description

The Intermediate Designer is a full-time position. The role involves developing design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, and supporting projects from schematic design through construction documents. The Intermediate Designer collaborates closely with senior designers and project managers, coordinates with consultants, and participates in client and stakeholder meetings as needed. Daily responsibilities include revising plans based on feedback, ensuring design solutions align with project goals and codes, and contributing to a cohesive project narrative.

The role also requires effective communication with the internal team, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications
  • Strong architectural design skills, including concept development and space planning.
  • Proficiency with Sketch Up, Enscape & AutoCAD.
  • Experience preparing drawings, renderings, and presentation materials for mixed-use, residential, or commercial projects.
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and best practices related to urban and community-focused projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; professional licensure track or interest in licensure is beneficial.
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural firm, preferably with urban and Mixed-Use projects.
