Required Skills:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatology
• Valid medical license to practice in California
• Proven experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU)
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Prior experience in a Level IV NICU
• Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record systems
• Additional certifications such as NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and SIN (Sick Nieuwborn Certification)

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree
• Minimum of 2 years of neonatology practice in a hospital setting
• Proven track record of managing complex neonatal cases in a high-acuity environment

Other Requirements:

• Availability for in-house shifts, including day, night, and weekend coverage
• Flexibility to work 24-hour shifts and holiday coverage as needed
• Must adhere to all hospital policies and state healthcare regulations
• Travel and licensure reimbursement available where applicable
